The article shows the key statement of the book The Grand Design (2010) about death of philosophy. Authors of the book Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow consider that the Universe does not need the Creator as she submits to laws of physics. Philosophical ideas of essence of a universe are replaced with the M-theory which is considered as family of various theories, and at the same time foretelling that from nothing the set of the Universe is created. In article it is argued that the principle of a determinism of natural-science knowledge does not assume that from nothing as lack of an event, there can be all. Authors face a philosophical paradox and are forced to appeal to the anthropic principle and concepts of great philosophers, recognizing that we are in a critical point of history of science owing to what it is necessary to change our understanding of the purposes and what does the physical theory accepted. The philosophy restores the rights.

Keywords: death of philosophy; M-theory; nothing; anthropic principle; life.
